Primetimers will be cancelling their regular meeting at the Golden Coral and will be having a Christmas Party at the home of Norma and Doyle Qualls at 6:00 on Thursday night the 15^th of Dec.  We would like everyone to bring covered dishes.  For ideas or directions call Norma Qualls at 846-2000. There will be a Primetimers meeting at Golden Coral in Beaufort on the 11th of Oct. at 6:30pm.  (Sorry Bluffton, we got mixed up last month—this aging thing ) So we will get back to a normal schedule…Please, all try to attend.

On the 14th of Oct. (Friday night) at 5:30pm, we will meet at Norma and Doyle Qualls house for our annual oyster roast.  There will be no charge for this but as always, donations are accepted by the primetimers to help with cost of other things.  Norma will call you if she needs you to make a dessert. (5 Seacrest Lane, Seabrook)

On Sat. the 22nd of Oct, we will meet at Skeet and Gail Burris’s (Cyprus Bay Plantation) for our annual picnic, this will start at 3:00 and we will eat around 5:00.  Covered dishes are expected along with desserts.  Bring your lawn chairs and plan to be entertained by a special group of Gospel singers. 

Some have asked for directions to these happenings, if you can’t google to get directions, we will try to get something out to the Sunday School classes to be distributed.

Today is the last day to call in for reservations for the fall trip to Tenn. to hear Dr. David Jeremiah and George Bush.  We’ve had lots of interest but many want to drive up.  This has not helped us to afford the bus to take the ones who can not drive.  After the call yesterday to Phil Waldrep ministries and checking with the bus driver for a reduction in price, we still do not find an affordable way of taking our bus.  My phone number is the same so please give me a call if you know of a solution because I can’t wait any longer.  It has been a lot of work to plan this and I was really hoping it would work out.

THIS IS A NOTICE ABOUT THE PRIME TIMER’S TRIP TO SEVIERVILLE, TN IN THE FALL.  IN ORDER TO SECURE THE PRICE OF $229.00 PER PERSON WITH TWO PEOPLE IN EACH ROOM, THE COST OF BUS IS AN ADDITIONAL COST.   WE HAVE TO HAVE  THE MONEY AND NAMES IN BY JULY 27^TH.  AFTER THAT IT WILL COST $249.00 PER PERSON PLUS THE COST OF THE BUS.  PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS ABOUT THIS GREAT TRIP.  AT THIS POINT, I AM GOING TO OPEN THE TRIP UP TO ANY ADULT THAT WOULD LIKE TO GO, THEY DO NOT HAVE TO GO TO CBC.  WE ARE TRYI NG TO REACH OUT TO THE COMMUNITY WITH EVENTS LIKE THIS AND THEN WE CAN INVITE THEM TO CHURCH.  I STILL NEED A NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF $25 PER PERSON TO SECURE YOUR NAME.  I KNOW THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT WANT TO GO, HOWEVER WE CAN’S WAIT TILL THE LAST MINUTE.  PLEASE HELP ME GET ENOUGH PEOPLE TO GO ON THIS TRIP.

This is always a great time, the leaves will be turning and Fall will be in the air.  The bus trip is always nice because you can enjoy the scenery, talk to new people or enjoy old friends or read or take a nap.    Where else can you go to listen to powerful speakers like Dr. David Jeremiah and  including President George W. Bush on a special patriotic night.  I have had people email me to just buy a ticket to listen to the President.

This is to remind you of the primetimers meeting in Bluffton this Tuesday night July 12, 2011, at 6:30 pm.  We need to have as many as possible as we will be discussing upcoming events.  The time is closing out to get as many as possible for the bus trip to Tennessee in Oct. (24th-27th). We need to purchase the rooms as they are filling up very fast.  George W. We have a meeting tomorrow night (april 12,2011) at the Golden Corral (Beaufort) at 6:30.  Those of you who went with us to see the Passion Play should have some wonderful stories to share.  Hope to see you there.   Ron

Good Afternoon,

Time is getting short, we will be leaving on April 8^th, at 9:00 am please arrive a little early for a photo shoot outside the bus.  The dress is casual, make sure that wear shoes that are for

Walking.  Sometimes, some of the Prime Timers bring along a bag of cookies or treats that we pass along and share on the way up.  There will be a couple of coolers of bottled water to

Drink.  The bus has a restroom and we will stop once on the way up at a rest stop so that everyone can stand up stretch and use the facilities.  We should arrive in Atlanta around 3:00 pm.

We will get up on Saturday morning, have breakfast then put our luggage back on the bus.  We will leave the hotel in time to reach the civic center around 10:00 as the the play starts at

11:00 am.  After the play, we will gather back on the bus for our journey home to Beaufort.I am estimating the time arriving back at 7:00 depending on the weather/traffic.  You may take your checks by the church office and put on the bottom left “Passion Play” and they will put your check in my box. I will be out of town from Thursday till Sunday evening.   Unless, you want to give them to my wife who will be in church Sunday, as she sings in the choir.  We are looking forward to this trip with new friends and old friends.  I need to tell you that we have an opening for

A couple or two individuals that would like to share a room.  I need to know this week as I will have to cancel one room, however, I have already purchased the 2 additional tickets to the play
