Good Afternoon All:

This coming Tuesday, July 13, 2010 beginning at 6:30 pm at the Bluffton Golden Corral Restaurant we will have our monthly gathering.

Remember to tell the cashier that you are with the CBC Prime Timers Group and you will receive your drink free. We will meet in the large meeting room to your left as you leave the cashier. Check out the CBC Bulletin this coming Sunday for the announcement. If you have any friends that you would like to invite please bring them along. The only requirement is that at least one of them has to be over the age of 50. I look forward to seeing everyone there.

Fall 2010 Trip to Sevierville, TN

At our Prime Timers meeting this past Tuesday I decided to cancel the fall trip. I had only received money from 11 people and 4 of them wanted to drive their own cars. We needed to have 40 people to make arrangements for the bus. I have refunded monies that I collected as a deposit to those that were at the meeting. I still have 3 checks that I will bring to church tomorrow. There is still time for individuals to make arrangements on their own and can still recieve the early bird discount prior to July 21, 2010. This is a reminder about our next Prime Timer Meeting at the Bluffton Golden Corral next Tuesday, March 9, 2010 beginning at 6:30 pm. This is a dutch treat dinner, please inform the cashier that you are with the CBC Prime Timers Group and they will not charge you for your drink. This meeting is open to all Prime Timers (Beaufort and Bluffton).

PRIME TIMERS MEETING AT GOLDEN CORRAL

Good Evening, this is my latest reminder for our next meeting Tuesday, Feb 9th at the Golden Corral in Beaufort. Please tell the cashier that you are with the CBC Prime Timers and they will not charge you for your drink. We have in place, a plan to meet in Bluffton, SC at the Golden Corral on each odd number months at 6:30 pm starting March 9th, 2010. So that means we will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, Beaufort Golden Corral on even number months and Bluffton Golden Corral on odd number months. Please bring your friends or just meet some new ones. We will discuss a new transportation program that we are proposing to assist other seniors with rides to church, Doctors appointments, trips to Wal-Mart, etc. If you are interested please let me know. I look forward to seeing everyone at one of the meetings.

Information on Fall Trip to Sevierville, TN Oct 5-8

Good Afternoon All:

This will be my last reminder about our trip to Sevierville, TN. We will meet and park our vehicles behind the old CBC Church on Monday morning October 5th. We will be leaving on the bus at 7:00 am sharp, Please be on time and we will store our luggage under the bus. I would allow extra time to be at the bus by at no later than 6:45 am. The dress is casual, comfortable walking shoes, slacks, jeans, maybe a sweater or jacket. It will be a long bus ride, however, we will stop at the 2nd rest area on I26 prior to Columbia and then we will stop around Greenville, SC to have lunch. We are staying at the Willow Brook Lodge, 3035 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN. We will use the bus for transportation to all events. When you receive this email, please reply back with a good cell # of yours so that I will know how to get a hold of any or all of you if needed. My cell # is 843-812-2796.

This is a reminder about the different events we have planned for the month of October 2009.

Please mark your calendars for the above dates. We will not be having our meeting in October because we will be seeing enough of each other by the time we are finished.

Update on ourFall Trip to Sevierville, TN

No, you are right, you have seen this before, I am new at this web sight so bear with me. I had to correct 12 addresses so that they could read this. Sorry to the rest of ya’ll. Good Evening, This is an update on our upcoming trip in October. We will be staying in the Willow Brook Inn, Pigeon Forge, TN. You can click on willowbrooklodge.com to see what ammenities they over. They are located at 3035 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, Tn. Remember that you have until August 15th to submit the remainder of your money. If you are in a double occupancy room and have given your $25 deposit, and you are riding the bus, then you have a balance of $274 due. You may pay that at any time between now and the 15th of August. You need to make the checks out to CBC and write in Prime Timers Trip in the left hand bottom of your check. You need to make sure that I receive the checks so that I can keep track of who has paid. I have heard from several people that they are starting to get excited about the trip.
