Oyster Roast at the Qualls 2008
On behalf of the 88 people that came to the annual oyster roast at Doyle and Norma Quall’s this past Saturday I would like to extend a big thank you for a job well done, as always. The weather was perfect, the oysters, soup and cornbread were great, plenty of hot dogs and sausage dogs to put over the open flame and more desserts than you could eat. It was just a lovely evening to enjoy good food, felowship and fun.
I am sure that Elaine Wilkinson will share her pictures with John Ward to add to our website. If you had a good time, please tell Doyle or Norma.

Charline and I had a GREAT time at our FIRST ever Prime Timers event. At the time it was a bit depressing (that we were now old enough to attend such an event). Norma was the perfect host and DQ cooks up some GREAT soup!
Norma & DQ thanks for your wonderful Southern Hospitality. That was the best Oyster Roast that John & I have ever gone to. I don’t eat oysters but that soup, cornbread & making your own “dog” over the fire were super; lots of fun, too. John loved the oysters! It was a perfect night, the setting fantastic. So glad that we made the drive out from HH. Thanks again.
thanks qualls
