I am writing this to inform everyone that this trip is still on, we have reserved the rooms at the hotel, got the tickets for the play, and have a contract with Fidelis Coach.

We will meet in the last row of the old church parking lot at 8:30 am on Friday, April 8, 2011 and depart at 9:00 am.  Group Pictures and load the bus. 

We have had one couple that had to take their name off the list because of personal reasons, so now we are looking for one couple to go in their place.  Please pass the

word around and see if you can find either one couple or two individuals that will share a room together.  The price is still the same, $65.00 down and $65.00 per person

by the 1^st of April 2011. 

REMINDER:  PRIMETIMERS WILL MEET THIS TUESDAY EVENING, MARCH 8^TH AT 6:30 PM AT THE BLUFFTON GOLDEN CORRAL.  I KNOW THAT THERE WILL BE SOME THAT ARE

GOING ON THE TRIP TO ISRAEL.  I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A GOOD SHOWING AS WE HAVE HAD TO CANCEL THAT LAST ONE IN BLUFFTON.  I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

It was suggested that our group might like to go see the Final Season of the Atlanta Passion Play in Atlanta, Ga.  I have called for the price of tickets, bus and motel.  The trip will include the bus ride to Atlanta, Ga. And return to the church, tickets to the Passion Play and a stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Atlanta Perimeter Center located on 1145 Hammond Drive NE Atlanta, GA.

The motel serves a complimentary breakfast w/hot items.  It has in the rooms coffee maker, microwave and hairdryers.  It is located 2 blocks from the Perimeter Mall.  Dining nearby includes Chequers Seafood Grill, The Cheese Cake Factory, Maggiano’s Little Italy, J. Alexander’s and Fuddruckers plus many eatery’s in the mall.  We would leave CBC Parking lot on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 9:00 am and stop for lunch around noon then continue on the Atlanta.  We should arrive in time for anyone who desires to go shopping, take a nap, etc.   All meals are Dutch treat except

The breakfast bar at the hotel.  Everyone can go where they want on their own, or I could have the bus driver take us to the Perimeter Mall for a determined amount of time and bring us back to the hotel. After a good night sleep and a leisurely  breakfast we can casually take our time to arrive at the Civic Center around 10:00 am, the play starts at 11:00 am.  After the play we will get on the bus and head back to Beaufort and stop somewhere to eat around 4:00 pm and should be back to CBC by 8:00 pm on Saturday, April 9, 2011 in time for church on Sunday morning.  The total cost of The trip will come to $130.00 per person with double occupancy in each room.  The only additional cost would be for your meal up, Friday evening and the meal on the way home.  We always try to stop at a restaurant that will be reasonable in price.  If this is something that you would like to do, please see me in church on Sunday with a nonrefundable check in the amount of $65.00 per person and the remaining $65.00 will be due no later than April 1, 2011.  You can email me at rvoegeli@charter.net  or call me at 524-6677.  Time is of the essence as the tickets are Selling quick for the Saturday performance.  I hope to hear from everyone that is interested as soon as possible.  We have a 47 passenger bus, so please tell your friends if you would like them to come along (a great way to invite someone that might not come to our church)

We will be meeting at Beaufort Golden Corral on Feb. 8th at 6:30.  Several things have been mentioned by others, such as the Passion Play in Atlanta.  We will need to check for interest and those who would like to go.  Our problem seems to be with many who can not drive and will need a bus.  But many like to drive themselves.  We need to have enough response to hire a bus if needed. (and also to be able to pay for it)  We need to remember that there is a trip to Israel planned and many will be going on that and also the choir practices for the Easter musical.  Any comments will be welcome. Please plan to attend.  This is a early reminder so you can mark your calendar now.

The meeting planned at the Golden Coral in Bluffton, Jan. 11th at 6:30pm, has been cancelled due to the weather conditions.  We will still plan our meeting in Beaufort Golden Coral on Feb. 8th at 6:30.  Please feel free to send any comments you would like and I will try to get back to you.  Ron Voegeli

Primetimers will be meeting in Bluffton at 6:30 on Tuesday the 11th of Jan.  Please try to attend this meeting.  (We missed the bulletin again).

This is to remind all primetimers that we are having our regular meeting at the Golden Coral in Beaufort at 6:30pm on Dec. 14^th. Please try to attend.  We would love to see some of the Beaufortonians South of the broad as well as our regular Beaufort group.  We have some things to discuss and some plans to make.  We realize this is Christmas season and many have other plans, but support your primetimers group if possible.  Ron Voegeli

Our Blufton meeting at the Golden Corral scheduled for this coming Tuesday night November 9th has been cancelled.  we will be in Charleston preparing for heart surgery and several others that was asked to take care of it, had other commitments.  We will have our Beaufort Meeting on December 14th at the Golden Coral in Beaufort.   Ron Voegeli

This is a reminder about our monthly dinner meeting this Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the Beaufort Golden Corral starting at 6:30 pm.  We will be discussing our outing at the home of Skeet and Gail Burris in Cypress Plantation.  I hope that Skeet and Gail can be in attendance so they can add the personal touch to our annual visit to their lovely home.

This will be a covered dish dinner, starting at 3:00 till 7:00 pm this Saturday, October 16, 2010.  The directions have been posted on a previous post.  If anyone has any questions, I believe that more information will be in the bulletin this Sunday.  Please call me at 843-812-2796.  I hope that you have a pleasant evening.

It is so encouraging to know so many of you are checking the Prime Timer’s Blog!  My apologies for having put down the incorrect date for our annual Prime Timer’s get-together at Cypress Bay Plantation.  The date is actually Saturday, October 16, which should make for much nicer weather anyway!  Thank you all in advance for attending what promises to be a great day!

The Prime Timers are having their annual gathering at Cypress Bay Plantation on Saturday, October 16  from 3 to 7:30 PM. This beautiful venue is situated on hundreds of acres near Cummings, SC.

Anyone 50 years young can be a Prime Timer. This is a covered dish event and everyone is asked to bring a main dish and a side dish or dessert.
